'Fuddy Meers' to Premiere at Barn Theatre

Anniversary season continues with third production in Montville.

The Barn Theatre is continuing to celebrate its 85th Anniversary season with its third production, Fuddy Meers, scheduled to premiere on Jan. 11.

The play was written by David Lindsay-Abaire and will be directed by Todd Mills, of Boonton.

Fuddy Meers finds Claire with a rare form of amnesia that erases her memory whenever she falls asleep. With the help of her husband and a scrapbook she rebuilds her life each day. But today is not her usual stroll down amnesia lane. Get ready for a wild adventure with Claire and the most outrageously dark yet funny characters to visit the Barn's stage in years.

Included in the production are several local actors, including Jill Bormann and Fred Halperin of Morristown and Anthony Duke Claus of Montville. Other actors include Jean Habrukowic of Somerset, Caroline Crafton of Rutherford, Joe Guadara of Verona and Michael Reddin of Totowa.

The play will run on four weekends beginning on Jan. 11, with evening performances at 8 p.m. on Jan. 11, 19, 25, 26 and Feb. 1 and 2. Matinee performances will be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 13, 20 and 27.
