Arbor Day Poster Contest Winners Announced

Montville Township Kiwanis judged the 115 entries submitted by Montville fourth-graders.

Thirteen winning Arbor Day posters created by Montville Township fourth-graders have been selected in this year's poster contest, the Montville Township Environmental Commission has announced.

The theme of the 2013 contest was "Plant trees they help keep our water clean!" There were 115 entries submitted and the posters were judged by the Montville Township Kiwanis.

The township's 10th Annual Arbor Day and Tree City USA 2013 celebration is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Friday at Hilldale Elementary School. It is open to all township residents.
