Teen Suggestions Wanted by Montville Library

Advisory board being formed to consider interests of teens and tweens at Montville Township Public Library.

The Montville Township Public Library is hoping to form an advisory committee made up of young adults to make suggestions on how the library can better service teens and tweens.

The young adults, from grades 6 through 12, are invited to join the "Teen/Tween Advisory Board." The board will help library employees decide which books, movies and video games to offer that would appeal to that age group, as well as helping the library plan activities that would appeal to them.

"Should we bring in an expert to speak about a specific topic? Should we have gaming afternoons in the Pio Costa Auditorium? How about a Hunger Games movie night? The Advisory Board will have a direct impact on teen programming. Help us serve you in the way you want us to," the library said in a press release.
