Positive Parenting Talk Will be Held at Montville Library

Therapist to talk about raising optimistic children and teaching positive behavior.

The Montville Township Public Library will be hosting Diane Lang, a therapist, educator and author, who will talk about using positive parenting skills to promote a healthy lifestyle for children during a lecture March 7.

The talk will be held at 1 p.m. at the library.

"Ms. Lang will discuss how to raise optimistic and resilient children by using 'positive psychology' as a foundation," according to a description of the program sent by the library. "She will talk about what personality traits can be learned, what you should be teaching your child, how to model positive behavior, and how to maintain the type of home environment that will encourage your child toward a positive lifestyle."
