Montville Ranked as 20th Safest Community in New Jersey

A home security website conducted an investigation and reviewed FBI data to compile the list of 50 Safest Communities in New Jersey.

Montville was ranked No. 20 on a list of the 50 Safest Communities in New Jersey compiled by SafeWise.com, a website that compares home security options.

According to SafeWise.com, they used data from the FBI’s 2011 Crime in the U.S. Report with their own investigation to compile the list.

“Montville’s Economic Development Committee helps your business find a suitable location, and ensures the community enjoys a diverse mix of businesses. And Montville High School offers your teen the chance to participate in an extensive science research program that’s affiliated with the State University of New York at Albany,” reads the article. “Safe, progressive and dedicated to the future, it’s no wonder Montville residents enjoy a satisfying quality of life.”

Montville was ranked fourth among Morris County communities, behind Washington, who took the No. 4 spot, No. 9 Madison and No. 18 Morris Township.
