Montville Ranked a 'Best Place to Live'

Township ranked 13 out of 50.

Montville Township has been rated a "best place to live" on a newly released list by CNN Money magazine.

The township came in 13th place in the list of 50 U.S. cities for the 2013 rankings.

Credit was given to Montville schools, particularly Montville Township High School, "ranked among the best in New Jersey," CNN reported.

Montville is also cited for being on its way to having a walkable downtown, with plans in the works for the revitalization of the Towaco Center area. Rails, a new upscale steakhouse, is currently under construction there.

Only two other towns in New Jersey made it to the "best" list: Berkeley Heights (ranked No. 6) and Hillsborough (ranked No. 16).
