Car Raffle Postponed Due to Sandy

Two winners will drive away with new cars Dec. 22.

The Montville Township Police Benevolent Association (PBA) Local 140 still has two cars to give away and will be raffling them off on Dec. 22.

The raffle was originally planned to end on Dec. 1, but was pushed back because of Superstorm Sandy. The PBA will continue to sell the raffle tickets until the drawing on Dec. 22, which will happen at 1 p.m. at the Senior House.

Up for grabs are a 2012 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 and a 2013 Ford Mustang GT. The cars are provided by Fette Ford and Beyer Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep.

Tickets are being sold for $20 a piece, but only 8,000 will be available. Tickets can be purchased at Barry's Pharmacy, Montville Exxon, R&R Sandwich Shop, Montville Recreation, B&R Deli, Sundae's Ice Cream (Pine Brook and Towaco), The Flower Barn at Vreeland's Farmstand (Next to the Police Station), Montville Diner, The West Caldwell Car Wash, Beyer Dodge (Morristown), Marra's Italian Deli, Fette Ford (Clifton), Carlo's Barber Shop (Boonton), Framer's Corner (Rt. 46, Pine Brook), Towaco Service Auto Care, Top of the Park Italian Restaurant (Boonton), Sweet Expressions (Denville), Landauer Cafe', Stonybrook Realtors, Metro Pet Supply and more local locations.
