Trace History of Passaic River at Montville Library

The Montville Library will have a Thanksgiving themed event on Wednesday as well.

On Wednesday, the Montville Library will host a program about the history of the Passaic River at 7 p.m.

“The Passaic River: 81 Miles of History” will be presented by local historian and retired educator Phil Jaeger, said Pam O’Gorman, Adult Program Coordinator. Registration is suggested. Contact the library at 90 Horseneck Road (973) 402-0900 x227 for more information.

Now that Halloween is behind us, get into the Thanksgiving mood with this fun activity at the Montville Library: The Pilgrim Project. The project is at 4 p.m. "Join us as a Pilgrim and a "LIVE" turkey and remember the story of the first Thanksgiving! What did they eat, what tools did they use?  These and other questions will be answered at this great holiday show," according to the Patch event listing.
