September is "National Preparedness Month" and to prep residents, Emergency Management Coordinator Captain Rudy Appelmann of the Montville Police Department will lead a program at the Library to explain how to prepare for the next big storm or power outage. Tuesday was Lazar picture day and now it's Valley View's turn. Their picture day is Wednesday. The MTHS and Hilldale PTCs meet at 7 p.m. at their respective schools.
