Montville Schools Closed Thursday, Friday for Convention

Stop by for the first in a lecture series called "Ireland in the Afternoon" at the Montville Library.

Schools are closed on Thursday and Friday for the NJEA convention.

Any history enthusiasts out there? The Montville Library is hosting a 3-part lecture Series on Irish History by Dr. C. Brid Nicholson, Asst. Chair Kean Univ. History Dept.

Part I will be Thursday at 1 p.m. Registration is required so call 973-402-0900 x 227 to register or for more information.

Part I : "The Celts and St. Patrick: Creating Ireland" Every year we celebrate St. Patrick, but who was he and what did he do?  Who were these Celts and how did Ireland become known as the "Island of Saints and Sinners"? 

Also, B.I.G. (Believe, Inspire, Grow) will meet at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Lunello's Montville Inn, upstairs - 167 Main Ave, Montville.
