Valley View will have its first calendar raffle draw at 7 p.m. on Friday.

The Valley View PTA Calendar Raffle benefits programs and other items for Valley View School students. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold and a ticket will be randomly picked each month from October to June. The monthly winning ticket gets you a prize of $1,000 and the ticket gets put back into the pool for future drawings.

That means you have a chance to win $9,000 over the course of the school year.

“We finally broke $15,000 this week. Please continue to get support.  We are still far from our goal,” according to the Valley View PTA. “Our profit to date is only $6,000. Over 300 tickets have already been sold so far,” out of the total 1,000 tickets.

Their goal is to have all 1,000 tickets sold by July 15 and once they hit the 1,000th ticket, the raffle will close. The drawing dates will be as follows:

  • October 25, 2013
  • November 25, 2013
  • December 17, 2013
  • January 10, 2014
