Old Man Winter appears to be sticking around a little longer. The National Weather Service has now issued a winter storm warning for the area with 4 to 8 inches of snow expected by Thursday morning. The Montville public library has announced a delayed opening due to the weather. Wednesday's Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting has been canceled due to icy conditions, according to princpal planner and zoning officer Meghan Hunscher. The board was set to discuss variances for Holiday at Montville, as well as additions to the Lake Valhalla Club. Other Snow News: Due to icy conditions, the Montville library will have a delayed opening of 1 p.m., according to interim director Allan Kleiman. Tuesday's scheduled Board of Education meeting has been cancelled due to inclimate weather, according to Board of Education president Dr. Karen Cortellino. The board's next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 15. Other Snow News: Both county and township Department of Public Works vehicles are on the road in Montville working to clear the streets. Main arterial streets, such as Changebridge Road, River Road and Route 202 in both directions, are seeing normal traffic flow as the roads are relatively clear of snow.
