Montville, Pine Brook and Towaco Fire Departments responded to a three-alarm fire that resulted in a Montville house burning to the ground late at night Tuesday, Aug. 31. According to a representative from the Towaco Fire Department, the fire occurred around 11:20 p.m.; firefighters kept battling the blaze until the early morning hours of Wednesday, Sept. 1. No injuries from the fire have been reported at this time. The Montville police department and ambulance service were also present at the scene.
