Teacher-Student Dispute Draws Police Response, Cops Say
'Lack of communication' caused disagreement, police said.
Police responded to Montville Township High School Tuesday afternoon for a report of a dispute between a teacher and student, Montville Township Police Capt. Rudy Appelmann said.
"It turned out to just be an internal problem, lack of communication," Appelmann said.
Appelmann said the student and teacher had a discussion in which they did not agree.
"It didn't escalate. It was resolved before we got there," he said.
Appelmann said police had no further information on the incident.
When asked whether discipline was rendered, Superintendent Dr. Paul Fried commented that the district works to ensure safety of students and faculty members.
"In all instances regarding student discipline, we follow our code of conduct," he said.

I'm very glad it was worked out, but on another note, i think having police at each school is important. Keeping our children safe should be our number 1 concern.

Sounds like a whitewash by police and Dr. Fried. BTW what does rhe Code of Conduct prescribe for "disputes" between students and trachers?

whitewash?...... Did you ever think it may have been two parties that acknowledged each others differences in a mature and professional way and just moved on? Montville NJ has a lot of intelligent people, its probably a direct result of the great "trachers" that we have in the school system. Where are you from, melikric?
