Sewer Rate Restoration, School Test Scores Top Montville News
Car crash, future storm planning also make headlines.
The township committee is planning to introduce an ordinance that would restore sewer rates to what they were before the committee voted to lower the rates beginning in January.
The township has already put some suggestions made by the public after Superstorm Sandy in action.
Although no one was injured, traffic was slowed as a result of the three-car crash last week.
During a presentation on the Montville school district's achievements, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Casey Shorter said the students' test scores were higher than the state average in most cases last year.
A group of high-schoolers from Kinnelon and Montville donated 1,200 turkeys to food pantries to distribute for the holiday season.
