Not all bears are hibernating and neither is "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Melissa Gorga who tweeted about coming face-to-face with a cub in her Montville driveway Thursday.

Gorga, who is selling her house on Pond View, wrote that she returned home to find a furry friend near her house.

"Just pulled into my driveway to find a baby bear staring right into my eyes... Staring contest... #frozen #itran #iwon," she wrote on Twitter.

While seeing a bear may not seem shocking to Montville residents, Gorga's fans from other parts of the country seemed surprised by her tweet. "They have bears in the suburbs?" wrote Realitytea.com in a story about Gorga.

Montville has seen its fair share of bears this year, with a trio of the bruins keeping police occupied for hours in Pine Brook this fall. Bears were also reported in other areas of the town throughout the season.
