While there are a lot of intricate lights around town, here is a simple setup on this Montville house. A few wreaths can go a long way.
Even at dusk, this Montville house can be seen from down the street. The wreath above the front door is a nice touch.
Many Montville houses opted for all-white lights. While it's a classic look...
...A touch of red adds some character to this display.
Another Montville house with white light. This one stood out for its extensive roof lighting and its focus on keeping the landscape bright.
Nothing says Christmas like a pathway of ever-green trees leading to the front door, like on this Pine Brook house.

The holidays are here, and Montville residents have taken to their roofs, porches and front lawns for dozens of home light displays. LED deer, inflatable snow globes and Santa Clauses of all shapes and sizes are the name of the game this winter from Montville to Towaco to Pine Brook, and there is no shortage of the ornate and quaint. If you're looking to take a local holidays lights drive this year, there is no shortage of lit, tree-lined streets, classic icicles house trim and multi-colored landscaping for your enjoyment. Take a look at some of the houses we passed on our trips through town this week.
