Photos: 4th of July Parade Marches Through Town
Montville celebrates holiday Saturday morning with floats, bands and amusement park rides.
A large crowd gathered Saturday morning for the Montville Fourth of July parade that featured floats, bands and veterans who marched, despite sultry temperatures.
The reviewing stand and the parade's end were at the Montville High School where amusement rides, a flea market and food vendors were gathered.

When the fireworks are over, the music/noise at the carneval should lower its sound level if it must comtinue until midnight. Some people do want to sleep!!

Great pictures! To Patricia- I also live in the vicinity of the Montville Township High School, and do hear the varies noises that come from football games, Relay for Life all night events, the carnival, etc. To me the sounds are comforting, as they indicate Montville is a thriving town that is alive with community participation and enthusiasm.
