New Year's Resolutions: How to Improve Montville in 2013

If you could make a New Year's resolution for Montville, what would it be?

More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.

As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in Montville to make it an even better place to live?

Should the township have more community gardens? Create more recreational opportunities? Would you like to see more events at the Montville Dog Park or more festivals like this year's San Gennaro Feast?

What is on your Montville wish list? What is one thing you would improve in 2013?

Tell us in the comment section below or blog about why you love living here!

How about getting rid of the small sports cars with the illegally modified loud mufflers off the road, that would be an immediate improvement. No other town has that problem.

Sure build another park and then tell us we don't have enough money for the school budget and keep raising taxes until the only people who live here are the people who work here.

How about more fiscal oversight and responsibility so people can afford to live in this town! That would be a real Christmas gift to the residents of this fine township.

Merry Christmas!

Bring in some unique businesses (eg, supermarkets like Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Wegmans) instead of big box stores and chains we already have too many of (Home Depot, Dunkin Donuts)...our area is becoming entirely too homogenized!
