Most Dangerous Main Road in Montville [POLL]

Tell us what you think the most dangerous main thoroughfare in the township is and why.

A road does not have to be slippery to seem dangerous to some drivers and even with warmer weather on the horizon, some of the main roads in the borough may not seem as safe as others.

Recently, a report has designated Route 46 as the most dangerous road in Morris County. Now we want to know what you think is the most dangerous main road in Montville.

Participate in our poll below and let us know in the comments why you think that road is dangerous.

Also share with us the smaller streets you tend to not feel as safe driving on and why.

I would've voted for Peace Valley Rd if it or "Other" was an option.

The entire length of Horseneck into River Road "as is" is not safe for walkers or bicyclists- yet it seems to be used for exactly that quite frequently.

At least the roads above are considered somewhat "main" roads. I have lived on Woodmont Speedway....I mean Woodmont Rd for almost 20 years and it should have been on the ballot. It used by school children( I used to walk my kids to school so I saw it almost every day ) and walkers daily. The motorists both young and old fly by at incredible speeds. I have seen cars scrape the curb and hit things like telephone poles going through the little S curve right near my house. The little lighted sign that shows how fast you are going put up by the cops does nothing to change drivers behavior...speed bumps like on Millers Lane is what I'd like to see.

Two Bridges Rd in Towaco is a major detour to Rt 80 which avoids Lincoln Park. It is 18 ft wide, no sidewalks and very dangerous because of speeders. Should have been on the list.

Two Bridges Road and Barney Road should be on the list. They are used by Lincoln Park residents as a short cut to Main Road 202. They are narrow with curves and not equipped for traffic. Cars speed through these residential streets like they are on a highway.
