Who says diners are for breakfast food? Whether you're in the mood for a hamburger, pancakes or burritos, this week's pick for Bites Nearby has got what you're looking for.
Each week, Montville Patch picks a great restaurant either in
town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:
Macs Diner—With its large, inviting pink and turqouise sign, Macs Diner calls drivers in off of Route 23 North for a warm cup of coffee and a menu with endless options for breakfast, lunch and dinner food, no matter what time of day. Inside, customers are greeted by a case of cakes and pastries that are enough to make one forget about the meal and want to skip straight to dessert.
Macs offers foods of all different cultures including Mexican cuisine (quesedillas), Italian food (pastas), Greek sandwiches (gyros) and American favorites (grilled cheese). Macs is also open late until 1 a.m. Sunday-Thursday and until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
