Ex-Montville Teacher Now Accused of Sex Assault of Teen

Charges stem from Parsippany, court clerk said.

A former Montville teacher who was charged in March with sexual assault of two child victims was served with new charges Thursday that relate to a third victim between the ages of 13 and 16 years old, according to a Morris County Superior Court clerk. The new charges were filed out of Parsippany.

Jason Fennes, a former first-grade teacher at the William Mason School, was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault on an individual between the ages of 13 and 16 and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. According to the court clerk, the alleged incident or incidents that led to the latest charges occurred in the 1990s.

UPDATE: Morris County Prosecutor's Office says the third victim has accused Fennes of having a sexual relationship with her while he was her track coach at Butler High School.

Fennes, 37, who was already remanded to the Morris County jail following the charges in March, will remain at the Morris County jail on the new charges with bail set at $500,000.

The Bloomfield resident was arrested on March 8 after he was charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child when, according to an affidavit filed with the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, an investigation revealed he allegedly sexually abused a girl in his first grade class in 2005. Fennes was released from jail on bail, but on March 12 was arrested a second time on new charges he sexually assaulted a second child victim in the 2006-07 school year.

No further information was available on the new charges out of Parsippany.

teachers told the principal, BoE, and DYFS...this guy was still able to play "tickle torture" and hug every kid...Dr. Adams, Montville BoE will definitely be saving up for lawyers on this one...and to boot the guy lived next door to the ice cream shop in town, and had the most elaborate halloween haunted(literally) house every halloween...red flags all over, and the administration rushed this guy out of town, and fired the principal....disgraceful....

I just hope his supporters are feeling at least an ounce of remorse, and I hope we all (Montville tax payers) don't get stuck paying for possible lawsuits

I can't even fathom this sicko was running around from school to school abusing and resigning... Abusing and resigning. Just moving on and on to hurt more children. Disgusting that he got away with this for years and those poor girls who were not safe in their classroom. So PATHETIC.
