More than 500 attended Friday night's benefit concert—headlined by Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams—for injured Montville Marine, Lance Cpl. Adrian Simone at Montville High School.

Simone, a 2010 graduate of Montville High, lost both legs at the knee in an IED exposion in Afghanistan.

The concert, spearheaded by family friend Yvette Noel-Schure of Schure Media, brought together a full house and performers, Zach Matari, Micah Schure, Salena Wilson, Bianca Monica, Neil Davis, the band Valhalla, and headliner Williams to raise money for the rehabilitation and expenses for Simone and his family.
