High school ranked on list of best schools and township residents donate more to charity than state average.
Montville Township High School made it into the group of top 50 high schools in the state in NJ Monthly magazine's list of the best high schools. The biennial list was released this week.
Montville residents donate more to charity than residents in other towns throughout the state, according to a report released by the Chronicle of Philanthropy.
The Montville Township Board of Education heard from dozens of students, athletes, parents and a couple of coaches Tuesday night regarding former high school assistant track coack Anthony San Filippo not being asked to return as coach this year. San Filippo had coached for the past seven years at the high school.
Priti Shetty, of Montville, is suing the Dunkin' Donuts corporation because she alleges that as a franchisee, she was not allowed to open a store in Stockholm based on her race and gender.
The Montville Township Board of Education briefly discussed whether it would be more beneficial to repair the high school concession stand where it is as opposed to moving it and adding bathrooms.
