Montville Junior Girl Scout Troop 1053's second Stuff the Bus Sandy donation drive held Saturday was a huge success.

Jessica Skelton, founder of Stuff the Bus, came out to meet the girls, collect and load the donations on the bus and inspire the troop. The girls collected, carried, sorted and loaded all the donations on to the bus with the help of Skelton and her crew.

What we need to do is send truckloads down to the Jersey Shore with food, clothing, household items, etc. The Jr. Girl Scouts did a great job but more organizations from Montville should get together and get trucks, SUVs, etc. and make a caravan down to the shore as the town of Cape May did earlier this month. Truck loads is what is needed. I am sure that if some organizations in town would get together, set up a date and time and a place to drop off items, it would be a great success. here, in Montvile, we dodged a bullet. Not everyone can say this. The Montville Patch is an excellent way to get news out to everyone. Thank you.
