BOE Expected to Choose New Member This Week

Montville BOE Could Pick New Member Tuesday

The Montville Township Public Schools Board of Education will be meeting Tuesday and could select a new board member to fill the vacant seat of Jon Alin. Alin resigned from his position at the end of last year to relocate to Florida with his family. In January, Business Administrator Jim Tevis collected letters of interest from Montville residents wishing to serve and said that the board would be looking to make a decision on a new member during the first February board meeting. The board will be meeting at 8 p.m. at the Montville Municipal Building on Changebridge Road.

Zoning Board of Adjustment to Meet

The Montville Township Zoning Board of Adjustment will be meeting Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the township municipal building.

Operation Cookie to Kick Off

Montville Girl Scouts from Troop 230 will be running their annual cookie donation drive to collect money to send Girl Scout cookies to U.S. troops serving overseas. This is the ninth year of the program and the girls are hoping to send over 5,000 boxes.
