Best Holiday Photo Shows Baby Tangled in Lights
Patch users vote baby playing with holiday lights as the best photo in contest.
Baby's first Christmas was not only memorialized in a photo by his parents, but now as the winner of Patch's regional photo contest.
The photo, "Wesley Tangled in Lights," was chosen as the winner of Patch's Best Holiday Photo contest.
We asked Patch users to submit their favorite holiday photos on participating sites. Photos were then chosen to enter our regional contest where users could vote for the photo they felt was the best.
While some photos showed dogs dancing around holiday lights, other photos showed kids with Santa Claus and dressed up for the holiday season.
The winning photo of the baby playing with holiday lights in the Christmas tree was submitted by Rose Dudek on West Orange Patch. As the winner, Rose Dudek will receive a $500 gift certificate from Unique Photo.

i totally agree with leanbean. the contest had no merit what so ever. we were participants in the multiple voting, but only after we had realized other people where doing it and contacted the editor directly about it and getting confirmation that all comments would be counted. it was a true shame. at one point i event went online and wrote "i would just like to say thank you to all of my wonderful family and friends and others that have voted for #2 that i do not know. i already feel like my photo has won. but please do not vote for me any longer. this contest has turned into a popularity contest rather than a contest to display art or any real talent. thank you again for being so supportive. love you all ;) and you have warmed my heart."
i was truely disgusted by the end
sorry to all that had to read all of those really bad comments. i will never participate in a contest delivered by patch again.

A picture with an infant playing with electrical Christmas lights can be interpreted as neglect and abuse by DYFS....I would be careful...
